Director at Center of Excellence in Finance – CEF, Slovenia.
Jana Repanšek is the Director of the Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF) since 2017. From 2005 when she joined the CEF she acted as the Deputy Director of the CEF, a regional knowledge hub that supports capacity development for public finance and central banking officials and institutions in South East Europe. Before joining the CEF, from 1998 she worked for the World Bank in Washington DC where she ultimately led a team responsible for efficient and effective global distribution of printed knowledge. Prior to that she worked in the private sector in Slovenia. A Slovene national, Jana holds an MSc degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, SOAS (Center for Financial and Management Studies). Her professional focus is on institutional capacity development (public sector and central banks), managing organizational change, public policy and strategy, public financial management, and international development cooperation.
